היינו כחולמים
בחלומנו – גיטרה, חליל וצ'לו – החלו במסע קסום יחדיו, מסע אל עבר ממלכה של פנטזיה, אושר, עילוי וריפוי.
המסע החל בבית קטן בישראל במקום הנקרא שפיה, המשיך דרך הודו הקסומה וברזיל התוססת. צליליה הקסומים של המוזיקה נשמעו לכל אורך המסע.
אנשים תיארו אותה כחוויה עמוקה ומשמעותית, שלוקחת אותך אל נופיו של יופי אמיתי… והרי איך אפשר לחשוב אחרת כשמדובר בסיפור אהבה כל כך יפה בין גיטרה, חליל וצ'לו ?
אהבה זו הולידה שלישיה מוזיקלית מדהימה בשם "נאגווה".
החלום והמסע נגדעו בפתאומיות בעקבות מותו הטראגי של אחינו, שי מיבר. אין מילים לתאר את הכאב והריקנות שפטירתו הותירה בלבנו. הוא היה צ'לן גאוני, מלחין מוכשר, כותב מבריק ויותר מכל, חבר אמת ותמיד מלא הומור.
שי נהרג בסיומו של פסטיבל מוזיקה בברזיל, כאשר טייל עם חבריו באי קסום שאותו כינה "גן עדן". הכל קרה בתאונה הזויה לחלוטין. שי שכב על ערסל, כאשר העמוד שאליו היה קשור, קרס ונחת על חזהו, והרגו במקום.
להבה בוהקת כבתה באותו יום. אך אורו ממשיך וימשיך להאיר.
שי, המוזיקה והאהבה שלך יהיו תמיד איתנו. למדנו ממך להעריך ולאהוב כל רגע, ולחיות כל רגע במלוא האושר וההערכה.

משפחת "נאגווה".
מוסיקה קסומה ומקורית שיוצר הרכב אינטימי של שלושה נגנים, מהמובילים בתחומם בארץ. יצירה מרגשת ועשירה בגוונים, שהיא פרי של דייקנות קלאסית ורגישות אתנו-ג'אזית, כמו שרק חברי נאגווה מסוגלים ליצור.
חברי ההרכב גדלו על ברכי המוסיקה הקלאסית והתפתחו כל אחד בדרכו לכיוונים מוסיקליים חדשים. הם נסעו יחדיו לוארנסי שבהודו ולמדו מוסיקה הודית קלאסית ושירה הודית. כל אחד מהם הופיע עם הרכבים שונים בארץ ובחו"ל הן במסגרת העולם הקלאסי והן בפסטיבלי מוסיקת עולם.
הופעתם עמוקה ומהפנטת, חוויה שגבולותיה הם גבולות הדמיון.
שלמה עוז, מנגן גיטרה קלאסית, גיטרה 10 מיתרים וסיטאר. בעל תואר שני מהאקדמיה למוסיקה בבאזל, שוויץ. הופיע כנגן גיטרה קלאסי עם תזמורות בארץ ובחו"ל. מנגן סיטאר כ-10 שנים. הופיע עם בכיר נגני הסיטאר בעולם כיום, סוג'את חאן, בסיבוב הופעות משותף בארה"ב.
עומר גונן האלה, מנגן חליל צד ובנסורי, למד בתלמה ילין, ניגן בתזמורת צה"ל, הופיע עם המלחין והגיטריסט הברזילאי קריוקה פרייטס בסיבוב הופעות בברזיל, קוסטה-ריקה, שוויץ, איטליה וספרד.
שי מיבר, מנגן צ'לו. למד בתלמה ילין ובאקדמיה למוסיקה באוניברסיטת תל אביב. כתב לטלוויזיה ולתיאטרון. חבר מקהלת גבעול, בה הוא אף מלחין ומעבד. מופיע תדיר עם כמה מאמני הרוק והג'אז הבולטים בארץ.
We were dreaming.
In our dream a guitar, a flute and a cello started a journey together, a journey to the realms of fantasy, joy, ecstasy and healing.
The journey started in a small house in Israel, in a place called shefeya, continued through the magical India and happy Brazil and every step of the way the beautiful sounds of music were heard.
People have described it as a deep and moving experience that takes you to landscapes of pure beauty – and how could it have been any different when a guitar, a flute and a cello have such a moving love affair?
This love gave birth to a beautiful CD carrying the name of the trio “Nagwa”, and as the years passed by even though the group was drown in different paths there was always one path leading them back to each other creating more of this enchanting dream called “Nagwa”.
This dream and journey were cut abruptly with the sudden death of our dear brother Shai Maivar. Words cannot express the pain and emptiness his departure left in our hearts. He was a genius cellist, a talented composer, a brilliant writer and most of all a loving friend and a funny guy.
He died after a music festival in Brazil while vacationing on a paradise island.
A month prior to his death Shai urged his companions to the “Nagwa” journey, Shlomo Oz and Omer Gonen – Haela, to record their second CD, by that leaving us one last monument to his spectacular talent.
Shai, your music and love will always be a part of us. The lesson you have left – living every minute with full joy and appreciation – we carry in our hearts.

The “Nagwa” family.
Nagwa is an intimate group of 3 highly established musicians from Israel.
Their original music is a lyrical and captivating creation.
All three are originally acclaimed classical musicians. They have performed as soloists with different orchestras, and won prestige prizes at numerous competitions.
Each has developed his own unique style and approach through years of personal research and studies. Together, they integrate Ethno-Jazz sensitivity and sound with the precision and lucidity of their classical background.
In 2004 they have traveled to India together, to deepen their study of Indian classical music, and Indian singing. They spent 6 months in the holy city of Varanassi, the cradle of Indian music and arts.
Upon their return, they recorded their first CD, carrying the group's name: Nagwa. A few of Israel's leading musicians were invited to take part as guests in the recordings.
